Prizes from China


Prizes from China Wines Gran Colegiata and Dama de Toro from Farina were awarded 3 gold and 3 silver medals in the China Wine Awards which took place in Hong Kong. The wines are amongst the most prized wines from the winery and have now added to their collection. This edition, which took place in March in Hong kong, awarded Dama de Toro Crianza and Dama de Toro barrica with two gold medals. Dama de Toro is sold around the world and in select quality chains in Spain. China Wine Awards is quickly positioning itself as the largest and most influential Chinese wine competition. The jury is made up of key buyers, sommeliers and press from around the country and judge wines on quality, price/quality and suitability for the Chinese market. China imported 260 million litres of wine in 2010 with an anual increase of 58%.
