PEROMATO BEST BUY IN WINE ENTHUSIAST

01-02-2010

PEROMATO BEST BUY IN WINE ENTHUSIAST Peromato, one of Fariña's vino de la tierra wines will be featured as a BEST BUY in the April edition of Wine Enthusiast, one of the most influential wine magazines in the US.

It is a young wine that displays all the typical characteristics of the region; wild black berry, liquorice with a slight hint of violets. Bundles of bright fruit and good bright acidity. Soft and juicy on the palate.

With a US retail of 9$, Peromato is certainly great value - an all important factor in todays economic climate.

Peromato is made from 100% Tempranillo and has seen no oak whatsoever. All the grapes are sourced from the Fariña family's own vineyards planted over 20 years ago in and around the Toro region. These vineyards were the first trellised vineyards in the region and were the first to use a more scientific approach to produce better quality rather than simply following traditions.
