The grapes used in this wine come from approximately 30 year-old vines. After being hand-harvested and undergoing cluster selection in the vineyards, the grapes are destemmed and go through seven days’ maceration prior to fermentation.

Technical sheet:

Designation: 10 months in oak barrels

Variety: 100% Tinta de Toro

Winemaking: After fermentation at 25°C, the wine is aged for 10 months in American oak barrels (20% new oak, 80% second and third fill)

Tasting notes: The hot Spanish sun fills this wine with intense ripe fruit flavors, while the perfect balance of fruit and subtle oak creates a mouth-filling, seductive texture on the palate.

Consume: 2 - 5 years after the harvest.

Food pairing: Perfect to accompany roasted lamb and beef, as well as roasted vegetables, mature cheeses and other rich, flavorful foods.
